Do not miss the YORK COLLEGE SUMMER JAZZ PROGAM '14 performance TONIGHT, 8/11 @ 7 p.m. in the York College Performing Arts Center (94-45 Guy R Brewer Blvd, Jamaica)!

SJP '14 returns from the road after performances at University of the Streets in Manhattan and the Louis Armstrong House in Corona, Queens. These young musicians from NYC public high schools around the city will be performing music made famous by Louis Armstrong, Count Basie, Earth, Wind, & Fire, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Jimmie Lunceford, Charles Mingus, Oliver Nelson, Jaco Pastorius, Horace Silver, and others! They were recently featured on NY1 (see link below) and rightfully so. They tear it up! Tonight's performance is free and open to the public. SJP '14 is made possible by CUNY's College Now Program ( )
