Everyone,

Hope you are having a good semester! Be sure to check out some of the musical activity on campus this fall:

1) Strange Worlds

Dip into the planetary mythos of Sun Ra as we take you on an afrofuturistic space odyssey. An original play written and directed by Kristine Haruna Lee and cast, STRANGE WORLDS orbits contemporary issues of race, culture, and survival, and turns it all on its head! Join us as we explore the outer space world of Sun Ra, an angel from Saturn, and his cosmic poetry, philosophy, and above all, his electrifying jazz Arkestra.

Cast includes Ashlee Alexander, Eliza Asensi, Hermilo Bautista, Anthony Castro, Bellene Fisher, Shatiek Johnson, Eric Normil-Mendez, Vania St. Louis, and Katrina Trisha Moise. Assistant Direction by Christina Acosta. Dramaturgy by Khadija Anderson. Scenic Design by David T. Jones. Technical Design by Benjamin MacKrell. Production Stage Management by Jessica Pecharsky. Lighting Design by Katy Atwell. Costumes by Karne Boyer. Sound / Video Design by Stevo Arnoczy.
