Celebrate and Support
Our Leaders of Tomorrow

As 815 graduates of the Class of 2010 leave behind their student life at York College, we are reminded of the hard work and the dedication required to earn a college degree. York College is committed to preserving our reputation for high-quality education, but at a time when state support remains uncertain our annual fund dollars have become more important than ever.

Your annual fund gifts have a direct impact on the lives of York students. Through scholarships, you have helped talented students like Nicolas Hunt-Walker achieve their personal and professional aspirations. Funding provided by annual gifts also supports the development of academic programs.

We count on York alumni to ensure the same level of academic excellence for current and future York College students, in continuing to provide high quality educational and research programs that will make a York College degree a coveted commodity.

Please support our students and your York College by making an annual fund gift today. We need your support by the end of our fiscal year on June, 30th, 2010.

Thanks in advance for your help and thanks most of all for being there when we need you

An Outstanding Graduate

Nicolas Hunter-Walker graduated Summa Cum Laude in May. "He could be the academically brightest Physics major ever graduated ..." said Prof. Tim Pagloine. Hunter Walker was the recipient of the Prof. Eugene Levin Scholarship and the University Student Senate Award. He also received an honorable mention in the Chambliss Astronomy Achievement Award at the American Astronomical Society in Washington, D.C.; and was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa. What's next for Hunter-Walker? He will be pursuing his Ph.D in astrophysics at the University of Washington.
