The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and several national organizations have partnered to provide financial assistance to students who double as outstanding community leaders. Please visit our website for more information on the current available scholarships listed below, and share with qualified students at your respective schools. Strong candidates will exemplify the values of volunteerism and service.

• The Gold Standard Scholarship Program provides academic scholarships of $10,000 to local students in six NBA markets (New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans and Boston). Each of these recipients will be eligible for a larger national scholarship of $30,000 via an online competition to be awarded at a national event. All applicants must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age at the time of application submission and be an African-American.

• The MillerCoors/Louis Bullard Memorial Scholarship program provides academic scholarships of $4400 to deserving students who attend Jackson State University in Jackson, MS. Students must be majoring in a business or finance related industry and have a minimum GPA of 2.75.

• The Starwood Hotels Scholarship Program provides academic scholarships of $4400 to deserving students who are interested in the hospitality industry. Students must be majoring in hotel management, hospitality/tourism or marketing and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

• The Department of Defense/ROTC Scholarship programs provides academic scholarships of $4400 to deserving students who maintain the core values instilled by the ROTC program and balance them with their academic pursuits. All students must be enrolled in their school’s ROTC program and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
