Preventing Workplace Violence Online Survey Assignment

  • Significant campus risk factors identified in your College's most recent workplace site evaluation.Actions taken by the College to address the identified risk factors.
  • Specific campus resources and contacts for issues or complaints related to workplace violence.
  • How to access your campus WVAT roster and CUNY Policy Statement.
  • How to access your College's Workplace Violence Prevention Program.
  • Where to direct any questions you may have regarding the information presented in your College's workplace violence prevention training.

As required by the Department of Labor's Public Employee Safety and Health Bureau (PESH), annual training in workplace violence prevention is mandatory for all employees.

If you have not completed workplace violence training, either in person on the campus or via the University, please do so at your earliest convenience. In compliance with New York State law and The City University of New York Campus and Workplace Violence Policy, CUNY has developed an online training program entitled "Preventing Workplace Violence."  You are asked to complete this program within the next 15 days.

To take the program:

  1. Visit http://www11.wecomply.com/sign-in/cuny.asp
  2. Enter your username [YOUR YORK COLLEGE EMAIL ADDRESS]
    Ex: (jdoe@york.cuny.edu)
  3. Enter your password [2011] -
    (This is a universal password, you can change once you log-in)
  4. Click the "Sign In" button

The training program includes a multiple-choice quiz/game that you must finish in order to receive credit for completing the program.  If you have questions, please contact a member of your campus Workplace Violence Advisory Team (WVAT) or your campus Human Resources Office.
